Becky started in her tweens as an overly enthusiastic competitive horseback rider, continuing on to be an overly enthusiastic swimming instructor and triathlete in her 20’s. It wasn’t until her early 30’s that Becky found CrossFit, initially exploring it as a way to get out of knee and back pain from a decade of bad lifting as a carpenter and welder. It worked wonders, and she pursued coaching as a way to improve other’s lives as much as hers had been improved. As a coach Becky has an extreme interest in getting people moving better, safely, and fixing imbalances that can cause pain or discomfort. To further those ambitions she has studied and practices Thai Massage, soft tissue release, yoga for athletes, and is a certified Neuro-Skeletal Practitioner. Her philosophy and coaching style heavily focuses on technique and mechanics to keep people training and lifting well into their retirement.
Along the line she got into Kettlebell Sport, and holds her Candidate for Master of Sport ranking in the KB Snatch.
