I really enjoy helping people achieve their goals. I know what it feels like to start something and not have help. At one point in my life I taught myself how to lose 160 lbs. This transition took over 2.5 years. After I hit my milestone I found CrossFit Fate. I fell in love immediately. I enjoyed the variations of the workouts and the hands on individual coaching. I appreciated the added push I received from the coaches and community members. I knew Fate was for me. I attended the National Personal Training Institute and obtained my CrossFit certification. I want to be the voice people hear when they can’t push themselves anymore.

Angela Klem

Hi, my name is Angela Klem. I have been involved in the fitness world essentially my whole life. As a child, I was a competitive gymnast. I did school sports, including track, volleyball, cheerleading, and wrestling. After high school, I started weight training and delved into the bodybuilding world, where I competed in figure and fitness shows. After a successful career, I became a personal trainer. In 2009, I enrolled in physical therapy school and graduated in 2012. It was also in 2012 that I found CrossFit, and it has been my passion ever since. I am a mother to two little boys, so when I am not working as a physical therapist, coaching at CrossFit, or working out, I enjoy spending the rest of my free time living the mom life.

Cheyenne Schirk

Hi, I’m Cheyenne, the coolest coach at CrossFit Fate. I work as a full time personal trainer at a Corporate Fitness Center, where I also instruct HIIT and Circuit classes. I first started CrossFit back in 2014 in my hometown, Three Rivers, MI. I then continued with CrossFit through college and now after college, where I wanted to get more in depth with CrossFit and rather just do the workouts, I wanted to coach and inspire others on the workouts. I find a lot of joy doing CrossFit and I have found that I also love to coach CrossFit because I love educating and spreading my knowledge of the fitness industry to each member. I have been in sports and fitness my entire life. I played volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track through high school and then continued the competitive life in college where I was on the Michigan State Shooting Team. I am very passionate about sports and fitness but I also love to travel, be on the lake, garden, my two kitties, and anything to do with the outdoors.

Mary Mansour

Hi, I’m Mary! I became a member at CrossFit Fate in September 2020 and started coaching in November 2021.

Growing up I stayed active with sports, but never liked going to the gym. In 2017, I found a CrossFit gym and it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with everything CrossFit stood for and to realize I could actually have fun at the gym. I think it’s amazing what our bodies are capable of and it’s a sport that not only challenges you physically, but mentally. I got my CrossFit Level 1 Certification in June 2019 with dreams to one day be a coach. I love coaching and helping others exceed their own expectations of themselves. I especially love working with beginners because I remember the days of being that clueless girl in the CrossFit gym.

When I’m not coaching, I work within the CrossFit community for several companies. I’m also lucky enough to travel to CrossFit competitions for work and I enjoy keeping up with the sport.
